Diamond Valley Writers' Guild is a community for beginning writers to established authors. Although our epicenter is Southwest Riverside County, California, we have members and participants from all over the United States, and even a few who reside in other countries. DVWG has been a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 2016, offering valuable resources, networking opportunities, great speakers, and a forum for members to share inspiration and create a community with fellow writers.
Monthly Meetings take place on the third Saturday of each month, excluding November and December. We hold our meetings in a hybrid format that allows our meetings to be recorded for the benefit of writers everywhere, but also for speakers, members and guests to participate from any Internet connection.
If you are in the area, you are welcome to attend in-person at the Hemet Public Library or from anywhere else in the world, via Zoom. Our meeting time is 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM Pacific Time and, after the meeting, all are welcome to join the no-host networking luncheon at Emilio's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina.
Although DVWG meetings don’t require a paid membership to attend, as a volunteer-only, member-driven, non-profit organization we rely on membership dues to pay for ongoing expenses, such as the website, domain, Zoom meeting software and the cameras, microphones and computers that make our hybrid meetings work!
