About the Guild
Diamond Valley Writers' Guild is a community for beginning writers to established authors. Although our epicenter is Southwest Riverside County, California, we have members and participants from all over the United States, and even a few who reside in other countries. DVWG has been a 501(c) nonprofit organization since 2016, offering valuable resources, networking opportunities, great speakers, and a forum for members to share inspiration and create a community with fellow writers.
DVWG began doing hybrid meetings in 2020, though started out of necessity, it is now a standard function of our guild. The technology allows us to host top-notch speakers and industry professionals and grow our membership around the world from anywhere there's an Internet connection. It also allows us to record the meetings for the benefit of writers around the world.
Although DVWG meetings don’t require a paid membership to attend, as a volunteer-only, member-driven, non-profit organization we rely exclusively on membership dues to pay for ongoing expenses, such as the website and the Zoom meeting software and equipment, so we'd love to have you become an official member of the Guild.
"I belong to numerous writing groups and guilds. DVWG is by far the best value writing group I've ever found. I didn't hesitate to join!" K.K.
