About

I jumped into the writing arena on a dare and posting a couple of chapters on a free serial publishing website, Aliens and Cowboys became an instant success. Five years later, the serialized space opera is still ongoing and has spawned three books—so far.

Like my favourite author, Edgar Rice Burroughs, I gravitated toward serial publishing, which means most of my stories are published as I'm writing them. It forces me to schedule writing time and adds the pressure of having to produce quality work since thousands of readers DO see my rough copies as I post each chapter.

Growing up in rural central Alberta, most of the stories I write are based in and around the land I love and, for the most part, are not intended to be read by minors. Although, I do have a non-fiction and a children's book in the works!

I work as an HVAC technician, but also do web & email hosting, website design, book formatting and proofreading. When I'm not writing, reading or working, I enjoy spending time with my three lovely ladies, golfing or camping out in the woods with my family.
